- The requlator is only suitable for lead acid batteries: OPEN, AGM, GEL.

- The charge regulator is only suitable for regulating solar modules Never connect another charging source to the charge regulator.

Instructions are really vague . It lights up and the display rolls along , but changing menues is a pain . Stops action but doesn' t show half of what the directions says .

I'm using these with a single solar panel in the back window of my vehicles to keep the battery topped off to a full charge. No solar system is designed to bring a flat battery to a full charge in short time, so don't attempt to use this for that purpose, but once reasonably charged battery is connected, these work really well. They don't have a bunch of stats and parameters to monitor like the expensive MPPT controller, but you don't need that to keep batteries topped off ready for use.
