I had to replace one almost right away, when I looked into it, the "male" connector wasn't straight, and crushed the female connector of the other plug when I put them together. They are of lesser quality when I compared them to some Y connectors I bought. But they work.

I think it’s a pretty good deal. I camp a lot and usually have cables running across the ground for my panels to be in the perfect spot to catch the sun. Usually step on these things and break one every couple weeks so having this many is super handy. They seem to be comparable in quality to the bigger brand names but a lot cheaper.

If you're like me and constantly change things around, or are prone to messing up things. Having a few extras on hand for a reasonable price is a good thing. The only caveat of installing these is crimping the metal. Having the correct tool is not essential, but would help. I used vise grips several times. And always check the metal pins that you are installing into the correct male or female end. Otherwise they will not click into position.

I'VE USED DOZEN AND DOZEN OF OTHER CONNECTORS IN THE PAST BUT DIDN'T REALLY LIKE THEM .ORDERD THIS TYPE FROM ANOTHER SELLER AND REALLY LIKED THEM. GOING TO REORDER BUT SELLER WAS OUT. SO LOOKED ON AMAZON ,MADE SHOULD THEY HAD TO SAME TYPE AND ORDERD. THE INTERNAL METAL CONNECTORS LOCK INPLACE TIGHT AND STAY THERE. THE HOUSINGS HAVE INTERNAL METAL LOCKING RINGS , KEEPS WIRE FROM PULLNG LOSE. FIT GREAT.
