Big bed for large breed approx. 48" dia and 6" thick. Bought for Great Pyrenees pup and he loves it. Big enough that he should have it for a while. Soft, plush and comfy. I would not recommend putting it into a dryer though . It's very large and makes the dryer hot very quickly. If it gets wet (it's mostly on my deck ) I hang it up overnight and it dries quickly

We have so many dog beds for having only 2 dogs... only one of which uses dog beds. Our Bichon typically is a couch and human bed dweller, while our Lab is the one who primarily utilizes our plethora of dog beds around the house. Mainly because he is very large and he gets told to move because human furniture is for... well... humans first. That, and he's a lazy lab that loves to lay down in line of sight of my wife and I, so of course we have a hall bed, bedroom bed, living room bed, laundry room bed... you get the picture; the Lab might get kicked off the couch, but he has no shortage of placed he can be lazy. This is another one in the lineup - this is the dinning room bed... sigh. He loves it though. Feels comfy, he likes the raised edges (pillow), and is quality. His hair comes out of it pretty easy with the vacuum hose. Price point is inline with my expectations. Having several of them at this point, it's recommendable.

For this large dog bed there’s almost no fuss or struggle since you only have to allow the bed to decompress for 24hr and then insert the orthopedic foam into the bottom with a 2 way zipper. It’s a decent height of about 3-4 inches off the ground. The bolsters are adequate but would be higher/or bed deeper on my wish list. Texture of bed is more flat fur-like in person that tighter texture it appears to be in listing.Soft and fuzzy, darker color so doesn’t look dirty quickly, good for older dogs as well, and the most important—-(Aside from the dogs liking it of course)—- is that has a washable cover. Our dogs are 32 and 48 lbs and sometimes they both squeeze into it to share it even though we another bed for when they want to have their own.A quality value for $40 at time I ordered it.

Hi, my name is Honey and I am going to review this awesome dog bed my dad ordered for me. I am a 13 1/2 year-old Akita/Husky/Shepherd mix. I'm no spring chicken but I am in pretty good shape, as I do exercise quite often. Though, similar to my dad, with age comes achy joints. My back legs can get a little stiff, especially when rain is on the way. I find that when I nap on the floor for long periods of time, once I get up, my joints are stiff and I need to walk a bit to loosen them up. A soft bed to snooze on can alleviate the achiness I sometimes feel after I wake up.The bolstered bed arrived at our house vacuum sealed. My dad gently sliced through the plastic and unfolded the orthopedic support foam pad and the soft bed cover. The directions say to leave both pieces apart for 24 hours so they can fill out. I was all ready to use my new bed, but my dad said I had to wait. A day later and my patience wearing thin, my dad finally assembled the bed. Just slip the foam pad inside the bed cover, zip it up and you are set. As you can see in the third photo, I assisted my dad with the assembly. I tested the bed out as soon as my dad placed it on the floor. At first, I dug at it with my paws vigorously because that is what I do with every new blanket or bed. I am happy to say the bed held up, no rips or pilled material. Also, when I was digging up a storm, the bed did not slip or slide because there are uniform gel dots on the bottom of the bed to keep it in place. Next, I circled left a few times, then circled right, found the right spot and collapsed. Ahh, the egg crate foam pad felt really nice under my dog bones. The pad was just the right firmness, not too soft or too hard. What I really liked were the bolstered sides. They are perfect for resting your head against. A comfy pillow! I like the material of the bed cover, as it is soft and fluffy. If by chance, the bed cover becomes soiled (because, as you know, dirty dogs have more fun), you can simply remove it and throw the cover in the washing machine.Since my dad put this bed out for me, I have used it constantly. I have a lot of beds in various rooms around the house, but this is my new favorite. In fact, while my dad is proofreading this review, I am dreaming of chasing squirrels while snoozing comfortably in my new fabulous dog bed (see last photo). I rate this bed 5 paws!

Puppy loves it, Has bit it, chewed it and it's still in tact, so I'd say it's pretty durable.
