Purchased as a gift for grandson, dog itself has a rechargable battery , remote requires 2x AAA Batteries not included. Battery life is good and gives lots of playtime. Remote is like a tv remote and is quite sturdy. added bonus the so and can be turned up and down

I just wish the charger was more common. I couldn't find the charger that came with the robot, so I had to buy another one 😞

That is only worked a little while before it stopped- I have no idea what’s wrong with it! It need to be returned/replaced
