Would not recommend this product. I installed one on our shop door and the tape provided on the back does not stick well and they fell off and broke only 30 mins after putting it up. Or you could attempt to remove the already installed foam tape and use your own tape. But that’s quite a lot of work really.

I like how the 2x parts connect to each other and they functioned well. So when the alarms were set off to vertify they worked, they were so loud and scared me. It made me feel like I have better security and were easy to install on my own. Very cool product :)

I put on first floor apartment windows or door and put extra bottom magnets depending on open window width opening(photo)Lasted years until I opened one and it had corroded but still alarmed so need more anyway. I even carry one as a personal alarm. I thought they’re loud and they are! but slept right through one when it fell off when I tried to use tape for magnet twice. Still loud enough but still put metal bar or wood anyway to stop window opening when asleep. They use 2 good name brand batteries so just buy a bunch of Duracells. Good price!

Volume good, works well. On,y fault is the glue could be better. The alarm will fall out of place unless I add more glue to hold them in place.
