Black connector clip failed the first day of use. Would give one star but it only cost 8.51. I will have to reuse the original 20 year old connector clip.

This cable came with a connector piece that didn't work and damaged the cable end.1) The connector was poor quality and not crimped well, so the cable just let go when using the parking brake.2) The metal head of the cable end is much softer than the metal of the cable it is replacing as is evident by the gouge left when the connector failed.3) The OE cable had a protective sheathing over the otherwise exposed cable in order to prevent rust. This cable doesn't.I ended up using the original connector and positioned the damaged cable end in a way that I think should hold for awhile, but I doubt this cable is going to last the nearly ten years of the OE cable it is replacing. I believe this is my first Dorman part. If it fails, I'll try AC Delco. If that fails then I'll buy the Dodge OE cable.
