Cable is approx 6 inches too long had to install some sleeves to take up the slack. Not sure if my 2003 tahoe is the issue.

The adjustable style cable is no longer made so this design is the only option for buying a new one and it with no problems on my 2002 Tahoe.

I needed to replace the E-Brake cables on a 2003 Tahoe as Pennsylvania insists on an open road policy and in order to achieve that (so idiots in their 4wd/awd vehicles can still drive 90 mph while texting on their phone) pre treat the roads with what I have to assume to be some form of "liquid metal dissolver" as the severity of the corrosion on vehicles here is atrocious. They also over-use road salt which only compounds the corrosion issues. The Dorman cables are identical to the OEM cables at a lower price point. I refuse to sacrifice quality for price but if I can match the quality of OEM parts at a lower price I will save the customer some money. I've used these (professional, over-educated certified to the hilt mechanic) for decades and have never once encountered any issues with these cables.
