Multiple languages possible
The digital breathalyzer is delivered in English language from the beginning. However, when starting the device, the language can be changed. A quick look into the manual might help as well. Furthermore, our technical service can take care of any problem that might occur.
Calibration and battery life
It is recommended to calibrate the device once per year which can be done by the Dräger team. The battery (CR123a) doesn't need to be charged during its lifetime (around 5 years, 1500 tests possible). If necessary, the battery can also be exchanged.

Memory for 400 tests
The stored tests can be found in the menu, which is easy to operate with only one button and signal tones. Thanks to the proven DrägerSensor technology, the device offers reliable results.

Exchangeable battery with long lifetime
Up to 1500 tests are possible with one battery. The lithium battery (CR123a) is replaceable via the battery compartment on the back of the device.

Replaceable and washable mouthpiece
The intuitively attachable mouthpiece is protected by a cap. It is washable and thus reusable. Additional mouthpieces are available as accessories.

Police standard
The Alcotest 4000 complies with the standards: EN 15964, NHTSA, FDA compliance, AS 3547-2019 - depending on configuration and use. It also fulfils the IP52 protection class.
Police forces around the world rely on Dräger breathalysers. The A4000 uses the same measuring technology, but was developed especially for private individuals. The accuracy of this device ( ±5%) symbolises a new level of quality compared to other devices on the market.

Did you drink too much? Can you still drive? Those are frequently asked questions and hard to answer, as the tolerance level and the metabolism vary from person to person. Hence, the A4000 is the perfect buddy for parties, festivals, holidays or other festivities.
