Very useful, these little mandrins break easily or are easily bent. So having a few is very helpful and the price is right.

When I got these, I was very pleased. They were exactly what I wanted, and we’re exactly as advertised. The very first one I tried ( with the second smallest blade ) turned into a fishhook in about 3 seconds. I blamed myself for not tightening the collet. But then I did it again. Different blade, but still small. I’ve tried every other cutting disk, polisher, sanding drum etc. that I have, and nothing has ever came loose. Before or since. So, I don’t know what to think. But it’s not fun when your rotary tool is on, and the assembly isn’t spinning any more to cut something, it’s now bent like a U and going around the tool wrecking my eye protector, and was shaking so violently I could barely hold on till I got it shut off. Again, it could have been my fault. But I’m usually quite careful, and been around tools and equipment my whole life. So I’ll concede to complacency the first time, but the second time??

It's good to have several on-hand. But, the mounting screw is too short; it doesn't accommodate thicker wheels. Still need to find the right one.

I use these in my 8200 Dremel. They accommodate larger discs; up to 2" in diameter. The regular Dremel discs are too tiny in diameter - for everyday maintenance work. Larger diameter discs last longer and do a better job.
