I recently replaced my toilet wax ring with this kit, and I'm impressed with the results. The one layer of high-adhesive mastic and two layers of silicone rings provide excellent sealing, effectively preventing leaks and isolating odors. Compared to traditional wax rings, the two-layer silicone design enhances the sealing effect by penetrating deep into the pipe. I've noticed a significant improvement in both odor control and leak prevention since using this product. Overall, it's a reliable and effective solution for toilet seal replacement. Highly recommend for anyone in need of a better-than-wax option.

I used this flange to install a new toilet this afternoon. Have to say it was a pleasure to work with!!! No sticky gooey wax ring mess to deal with (although I still had to clean off the mess from the old wax ring that I removed). I love the fact that this flange creates a tight seal to the interior of your sanitary pipe as well as the toilet. This will help eliminate (or at least minimize) any backup in the event the pipe should become clogged. Installation was so much easier than with an old fashioned wax ring, and it seems to work great! I guess only time will tell, but I am betting that this "21st century" toilet flange will remain serviceable for decades to come. I'm sold! I'll be using these flanges from now on! Highly recommend!!

I've tried several of the mechanical toilet flanges over the years, and this one is the best I've see. It has to do with both the design (with two seal rings below), and the material (sort of very hard melamine-type composite). The entire unit then seals with something akin to plumber's putty (they call it a mastic) that goes at the very top where the flange actually touches the base of the toilet, around the horn.The design is so good, that it not only stops leakage of fluids, but also sewer gases. That's a major plus, and something I found lacking in other competitive products.This product is a few dollars more than other mechanical flanges that have been around for some time now. However, there really is no comparison. This is superior in every way, and super simple (and fast) to install. The double ring seal is remarkably secure.One note: Make sure that you're connecting to a 4 inch drain line. This will not fit smaller/larger diameters, and I suppose it's possible that the manufacturer has similar products in other sizes.An absolutely great design. I am thoroughly impressed.

I have tried several wax ring alternatives over the years and this one is different then I expected. The good thing about it is you don't have to contend with the messy wax. But I am not sure if the plastic material will seal as well as the rubberized ones I have tried. The two silicone seal rings are suppose to take care of it. I will have to test it over time to know for certain and I will update.

I ordered this hoping it would be a good alternative to the ol’ wax versions but I don’t think I’m going to use it. I don’t even know if it will fit my toilet and pipe and I’m not going to try. It seems cheap and I just don’t see how it will do a better job than the traditional method. It comes with two rubber gaskets and some sort of sticky adhesive that I’m guessing replaces traditional wax. It might be just fine but I’d rather not risk having to replace it twice.
