Dimensions are exactly as described.Thick metal, thick glass.Standard 2 wire + ground (caps included); easy to install.Note: The light is heavy, perhaps too much for cheap lamp posts; dusk to dawn sensor does not work on mine as evidenced in the photo.

I thought it didn’t fit a 3” lamp post, when I double checked, my post was slightly more than 3”. The lamp works beautifully.
