I had an SSD M.2 screw stripped and nothing would remove it. I watched online videos and used all the tricks there. Ordered this tool and it immediately and effortlessly did the job. I'm so impressed I'm writing a review!

Funciona bastante bien

Worked really well with completely stripped laptop screws. A bit overpriced but worth it as a last resort.

This tool works so well, and is well made and solid. I took apart my Dyson vacuum to give it a good cleaning and then unintentionally stripped some of the screws when I was putting it back together. I was able to remove these screws easily with this tool so I could replace them. So glad I got it. 100% happy with it.

This is a fantastic tool! I own a Hewlet Packard HP ZBook 15 G5 laptop PC which has two slots for M.2 PCIe NVMe SSD cards, and wanted to remove and replace the installed SSD. Despite using the correct size screwdriver for the small M2x3mm cross-head screw holding the board in place, the head of screw quickly stripped. It seems HP, like many other manufacturers, used a strong thread lock compound on the screw, making it almost impossible to remove! I tried using my set of Moody mini screw extractors with no luck. I then tried super-gluing a screwdriver into the head of the screw, but after curing for 24 hours the bond quickly broke when I applied torque to the screwdriver. I purchased these pliers as a last resort, after which I was resolved to sending my laptop to HP to see if they could remove the stripped screw (which would have been an expensive and time-consuming process). The pliers arrived today, and I set to work this evening. The head of the screw is very thin - less than 1mm, by my estimate - however the pliers easily and securely gripped it without sliding off. Because of where the screw is positioned, it is obstructed by part of the inner PC chassis, so I was only able to rotate it perhaps 1 degree at a time. However, after a few minutes easy work I managed to fully unscrew it, and without any damage or scratching to the SSD board and PC chassis. I may never need to use these pliers again, but even for just this one occasion they have saved me considerable time and money, making an incredibly frustrating job quite simple. I should also mention that they're superb quality, over-engineered and finished to a standard I've come to expect from Japanese tools. Best few quid I've spent in quite some time. Highly, highly recommended.

I bought a laptop for school. Bought an M2 drive. Tried to install it, but just ended up stripping the M2 screw that holds the drive down. Stripping small laptop screws is very common, due to soft metal + manufacturers over tightening them. This thing turns the screw just as easily as if you were using a screwdriver. I'm kind of impressed at how easy it was to do. Never thought I'd be removing screws with pliers. Unfortunately I don't have a replacement M2 screw, so I just reused the one I had just removed. As long as I have this baby, removing it (should I need to) won't be a problem.
