About this item

  • 【EPOMAKER Flamingo Linear Switch】The most obvious and attractive trait of Flamingos is their bright coloration which inspired EPOMAKER designers to create a linear switch seat that embracing the nature while maintaining functionality. Given that thought, Flamingo switch set comes into being! Each keyswitch features light pink housing to well illustrate its origins
  • 【POM Stem, PC Housing 】POM, or Polyoxymethylene, is a versatile polymer that is known for extreme resilience and low coefficient of friction. EPOMAKER Flamingo switch adopts POM stem because of its low-friction nature to create a smooth, scratchless keystroke experience with no additional lube. More than that, PC transparent housing and dual spring make this switch quite a charmer among other switches
  • 【Factory Lubed Switch Set】Coming factory-lubed and special structured, the EPOMAKER Flamingo switch can be self-lubed when being typed, which is especially helpful for maintaining a smooth feeling. The durable stem is credited to a more smooth and pleasing typing experience
  • 【Compatible with MX Structure Keycaps】EPOMAKER Flamingo switches are designed with general MX structure so that they can fit most keycaps sets with (X) cross stem. This greatly improves the compatibility and you can feel free to change the switch and remake your own keyboard
  • 【Built-in LED Slot & Durable Lifespan】 Equipped with LED slots for modification, the backlight can be shine-through even with PBT housings in the EPOMAKER Flamingo switches. This provides more fun feature and options for DIYers. With a strong dual spring, the lifespan can go up to 100 million times of keystrokes based on laboratory durability test. Get your keyboard something new and have fun with them!

Nice Switches, feel like Cherry red ones but slightly more clicky.Worth the price, they are 5 pin ones.Light feel, not very loud but still have a significant sound profile to them.AC point is half way. Will fit any mx profile keyboards.

I did not find it much different from the yellow switches, kind of felt the same and it is pricey.

The EPOMAKER Flamingo switches are a fantastic option if you're into linear switches and want a smooth, satisfying typing experience.Pros:Smooth and Consistent: These switches have a 47gf actuation force, which hits a sweet spot for many. Typing feels light and smooth, without any scratchiness, making them great for long typing sessions or gaming.Unique Sound: While they’re linear, they produce a soft and pleasant sound—perfect if you want something quieter than clicky switches but still distinct enough to enjoy.Pre-Lubed: These come pre-lubed, so you don’t need to spend extra time fine-tuning them. They feel buttery right out of the box, which is a big plus for anyone who wants a good feel without the hassle.Cons:Limited Quantity: With only 35 switches in the set, you’ll likely need more than one pack for a full-sized keyboard. So, be prepared to buy additional packs if you're working on a larger build. Not for Tactile Lovers: If you prefer tactile or clicky switches, these won’t give you that bump or feedback. They're strictly linear, which is a specific taste. Conclusion:If you’re after smooth, linear switches with a unique feel and sound, the EPOMAKER Flamingo set is a great choice. They’re well-lubed, consistent, and perfect for custom builds, but just keep in mind the set size if you’re outfitting a larger keyboard.

Used to be a lover of clicky switches but bought a Epomaker keyboard with Bluebird linear switches which were really nice. Bought these Flamingos to replace some of the bluebirds which got a little spillage on and became sticky. I like the Flamingos more than the Bluebirds.

For the price you pay, these switches are excellent. They are light, smooth and have a loud clacky profile. These do not really require lube and are already super smooth, but it would be even better if you did decide to.

Put these switches into my royal kludge keyboard and I love the smoothness. These switches have a stronger spring than I am used to, but it is all preference and I like these a lot.

I really like the weighting on this switch, and the firmer downstroke is great for typing, but you can still use it for gaming as it has a low actuation force of 47g. It felt very similar to the Wisteria, only with a higher bottom out which I prefer for typing. The sound profile isn't really my personal taste, but I like that Epomaker are using different material combinations for their linear switches. The Flamingo is another solid offering from Epomaker, and I'm eager to explore more of their switches. The keyboard hobby is really being redefined by brands like Epomaker and it's great to see.The Flamingo switches are good, and I like them. If you have used the Akko CS Jelly Pink switches, then you can expect a similar experience but with a slightly smoother keypress due to the factory prelubing of the Flamingo switches. My Jelly Pink switches are not lubed, so there is a slight, slight, slight difference. Nothing significant enough to make you cry tears of awesomeness, but the difference is ever-so-slightly present. After both switches are hidden under keycaps it becomes almost impossible to tell the difference unless making a conscious effort to distinguish between them.Only 30 Flamingo switches are provided in the small box compared to the 45-count in a box of Akko Jelly Pinks, so this can affect cost depending upon how many switches you need. But for keypress feel, the factory prelube makes the Flamingo switches winners by a feather. Both Flamingo and Jelly Pinks are good and you cannot go wrong with either if you like linear switches. Will the EPOMAKER Flamingo switches make you a better typist? Will typos vanish like Probably not, but typing clever Bash scripts or commands at a Linux terminal can give Linux a new feel radiating with hidden pinkness if coming from a different type of switch, so the Flamingo is definitely worth a look.
