I had no issues installing this onto the shaft of my Echo branded straight shaft trimmer. It uses a rubber compression sleeve compressed between the mount and a clamp to attach to the shaft and there are two different sized sleeves. You then attach the handle to the mount and angle it the way you want. The only thing that would have made it better would be if you could tighten the handle via wingnuts or a knob so that you can adjust the angle better in real time, but with that comes the likelihood of not being able to get it tight. For the reviews that mention it says that it comes with two handles, I'm not sure if the listing description has been changed, but when I ordered it, it said "2pcs" meaning the handle and the shoulder strap. The strap attaches to the shaft using a bolt shaft buckle that clips onto a velcro strap with a d-ring, making it easy to add or remove quickly when you need to.

I always find my trimmer is not very comfortable to use. After awhile I get very sore in my arms and back due to the position I have to hold it. I have been looking for one of these handle extensions for some time now, and finally decided to give one a try.The Qchwytxm Ergonomic Trimmer Grip comes with a part that attaches to the trimmer via two pieces that sandwich the trimmer pole. There are 2 bolts that you then tighten to secure it. You also get a couple sleeves that can wrap around the pole for protection, or in case you have a thinner pole. You get a 15.5 inch handle that also gets sandwiched in the pole attachment, which is secured by 4 bolts. The handle can be angled for your comfort.I have an 18V Ryobi trimmer. It is the type with the battery at the handle and a "D" loop for your other hand. This type of trimmer you hold out in front of you. For me, the Qchwytxm is not ideal for this type of trimmer. This handle is better for those types of trimmers that are longer and go under your armpits. The reason is with my Ryobi, with the handle, I am holding the trimmer very far forward. It has to be extended so the trimmer head can reach the ground, and even that it had to be angled. I also could not use the strap comfortably in this position as the trimmer, again, is in front of me. For longer trimmers the strap could be installed so the trimmer is balanced on your shoulder with the strap. Then you can use the handle in an ergonomic position where your hands fall, and sweep the trimmer side-to-side. I don't know if I am explaining it very well here but basically this handle is much better suited for those types of trimmers where the battery or the engine/motor is behind/above you, like the Ryobi 40V trimmers. From a build quality I also find the handle to be very lightweight. Just an FYI, there is a very strong chemical smell when you open it, so you may need to air it out before using. I believe the smell is from the soft rubbery hand grip. I also admit I find the use of the bolts to be a bit inconvenient. I would have preferred if they could have used bolts with wings so it could be hand tightened. The strap is nice to have if your trimmer did not come with one. This strap just uses a Velcro strap to wrap around your trimmer shaft. The problem with this is is can slide along the shaft. I have another strap on my Ryobi that has a part that grips the trimmer shaft (clamps with bolts). There is a loop on the part that the strap clips to. This is much better than the Velcro strap that comes with the handle strap.Unfortunately, this handle and strap just didn't work out for me. Even though the product pictures show my type of trimmer I think it is trimmer dependent and your height/reach. For me, I didn't really find it better than the existing D-ring handle that came with the trimmer.
