camera is fine, the web portal is finally working too, thought it would have had more to offer.

These Eufy home security camera system is outstanding. They are extremely clear, very easy to set up and can be placed anywhere. Would highly recommend using them. Great cost for the units.

This is a PTZ (Pan/Tilt/Zoom) camera that works with the Eufy ecosystem. It wasn't particularly clear from the description, but this is a wired camera powered by a USB cable, unlike some of the vendor's other cameras that are battery powered. Otherwise, it's small and easy to mount anywhere you need it, so long as you can power it properly.Overall quality is very good and it was simple to add to the Eufy ecosystem. Picture quality, even in dim light, was better than expected, though if you're using it to monitor large spaces, you may want to consider purchasing an add-on IR light to get better clarity far from the camera.Like most Eufy products, performance is very good overall and if you have an investment in the Eufy ecosystem, this is definitely a solid but compact indoor camera.

I bought this camera some time ago and after using it for a while a bought another one. From what I need in indoor camera - it has clear video, privacy mode, scheduler, remote control, notifications and good detection of humans, so I haven't had false alarms yet. App is quite fast and has a lot of settings so you can set up everything as you need. All videos can be stored locally on SD card or inhouse on Eufy storage device (don't remember its name) if you going buy one, or in the cloud for a fee. Aside of good video quality I like the most about camera is that you can set schedule for it when to send notification, sound alarm or go to privacy mode (i.e. turn away and stop watching you). And it simple to change modes manually without messing with scheduler when you off your schedule.

Read some reviews before you get this camera. I've got 2, and I have a 3rd on order, but it isn't necessarily the best choice for everyone. To start off with, it is either adorable or creepy how it lovingly watches you as you move around the room. I'm not someone that enjoys being on camera nor the idea of being watched, so I've resisted indoor cameras (except for very careful placement to only focus exactly on doors, which is not always possible); this one physically turns away when it is in privacy mode, so you *know* you are not being watched.Mounting/positioning is way more finicky than my outdoor cameras, and it took me a few tries to figure out what would actually cover the space I want to cover. In particular the motion sensing is good, but only within the field of view initially, then once it tracks an object it will follow it out of the default field of view, so there is a balance between what you initially think will be the best placement and what will take advantage of the motion aspect.Additionally Eufy's recommendations are not to put it near the ceiling, but closer to face height. Okay, but it's actually a lot harder to have a camera blend into the background when it's right in your face.Night vision isn't as good as I hoped when the lights are off (Eufy's outdoor cameras are great, with night vision IR or with their white spotlights) but it is passable, and I have motion sensors that will turn on low lighting anyway.Human detection was solidly "good", until adding a HomeBase 3, now it's nearly perfect at identifying people it recognizes as well as my pet. A lot of this is the HB3, but you need a camera to make it all work and the experience is solid.

I had previously experimented with cheapo cams, really just to keep an eye on the pets when we were occasionally away. With time, I started to appreciate how I could use the cameras as part of a real home smart security/monitoring system. I was originally planning on connecting the cams to my QNAP NAS -- which I could have -- but, in the end I decided to go with a dedicated hub for the security system and use the NAS for scheduled backups. My decision to go with this setup revolved around a few important things (to me): 1) security -- I wanted a system that wasn't dependent on cloud storage, and I wanted fully encrypted data streams -- both for local and remote access; 2) I didn't want any cloud-based AI, again for security reasons; 3) quality design and performance, and 4) I didn't want to get roped into a subscription, as most of these systems require. This is really the only package that I found that was both reasonably-priced and checked all of my boxes. I purchased and am using 2 of these cameras, along with a water/leak detector with a Homebase3 with a Crucial 1 TB SSD HD installed. The setup process was brilliantly designed -- smooth, took the least amount of time for actual setup possible, walked you through the entire process with audible prompts -- the setup really couldn't have been better. Other companies should take notice -- this is how to do it. Exploration of the features, menus, and config options will take some time, but getting the system up and running took less than 1 hour for 2 cameras, 1 sensor, and the Homebase3 with extra storage installed. The picture quality of the cameras is very good. The motion tracking is amazingly accurate, and the motion of the camera repositioning is fast and smooth. The zoom is cool. The performance is night and day compared with what I was using prior. I purchased a 3rd party mount with 1/4" threaded inserts so I could reuse the mounts from my older cameras. It was worth the money to not have to redo the mounts -- these are what I bought:https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0CT2JS5GT/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1There are many advanced features that I'm not going to get into here, but for the price, these cameras are great. I plan on getting 2 more Eufy cameras for outdoor use (solar-powered for the front and back lawn/pool area), in addition to another water/leak sensor for the laundry.BTW, I have this connected to my Asus mesh system, with the Homebase3 connected to the LAN via CAT5, and the cameras and sensors on WiFi. Everything works perfectly in my 2500 sq ft 3 floor home. Highly recommended.

My only issue is that the device controls don't work as they should. The geofencing doesn't always register. So the Home and Away mode doesn't activate like it should, meaning it's not active when you leave like it should, or it's active while you're home and you're getting multiple notifications everytime you breath. So I either try my best to ignore it all and constantly manually turning on and off the camera. Other than that, it works perfectly. I also love how it looks like a sad robot when you turn on the privacy mode lol. The image and sound is clear. It covers entire rooms and follows targets. You can turn on or off what it should look for or hear and adjust the sensitivity of it all. The controls are all there and if only that one feature worked, it'll be a perfect security camera.

Eufy cams are great. This one is super. I turn it on when we are in bed or away, and it monitors the front room where the cats hang out. This lets me know which one is the culprit if something is missing or knocked over… also what triggers them. Cats are entertaining. I turn it off at daylight. Sound is good. Picture is crystal clear and view is great. Also, the rotation is excellent. We have Eufy cams outside and I’ve dealt with Eufy support in the past. They are responsive once you get past the AI chat bot.

**Update**Anker (Eufy)’s customer service is very active. They sent me a replacement unit and it works good (the issue with unit having difficulties connecting after being powered off is resolved).I hope Eufy has taken feedback on other points I mentioned in original review. Adding two stars for active and commendable customer service.******Eufy has two indoor pan cam options. S350 and S220. Because both have very clear night vision and compatible with home base, I am not covering it in pros. Pros and cons are what sets S350 and S220 apart.Pros-Better resolutionAdditional telephoto lensMore options for monitoring like auto cruise between designated areasCons-This camera has USB C In stead of micro usb. It is possible that Eufy had to do that to accommodate 4K resolution. however, it makes this camera incompatible with other wiring. For example, you have S220 installed and want to replace it with S350, you cannot unless you change the cable. The base doesn’t have the standard tripod adapter mechanism which means that no aftermarket or S220 base wall mount will work with this. It works ONLY with its own wallmount and that wallmount is FIXED. once it is set, there is no wiggle room.Now- the biggest issue. Once you disconnect the camera from power, good luck bringing it back online. Yes. It stays offline no matter what. I tried connecting and disconnecting power 10 times. Got up on ladder, removed camera from mount, unplugged data cable and plugged back in multiple times. No luck. Restarted router 3 times. No luck. Now, I will have to remove camera from the app and re add.If you want to unplug the data cable, you have to remove it from the mount and do that. Not sure whose idea it was but it was horrible flaw. Even getting the cable in is not easy. It should be as easy as plugging charging cable to your phone.Cost is too high for what this camera offers. For the same price, you can get up to THREE S220 which is more user friendly and agile than this camera. My advise:-If you absolutely want that 4k resolution and zooming lens, give it a try but if your intention is to monitor 360 degree with more reliability, S220 will do better job at third of the cost.
