Waste of time hole is in center not off set for rim fire .22 so is useless.

I already owned a couple of the 12 gauge perimeter alarms, so I figured I would buy a couple of these .22 inserts, so I could have a quieter option for my camping perimeter alarm set-up... but now I wish I hadn't.First off, these are milled too small (smaller than the rim of a 12 gauge shell) and can easily wiggle/fall out of the alarm body (which they did, the very first time I tested them.Second, the hole for the .22 blank is NOT offset (which is what is shown in the picture and REQUIRED for these to actually work). The hole is drilled right in the MIDDLE of the adapter, so the firing pin of the alarm strikes the blank right in the middle, which doesn't set it off (because they are RIMFIRE... not center fire).They also came with springs (for some reason) and not the extra tripwire pin, as shown in the picture). I guess they're supposed to be spares for the perimeter alarms (??)DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THESE, LIKE I DID. BECAUSE I BOUGHT 2, I AM DOUBLY DISAPPOINTED WITH HAVING WASTED MY MONEY ON THESE INSERTS. ABSOLUTE TRASH. 100% DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!!!!!!!!

1. A 22 cartridge doesn’t fit the hole , 2. It wouldn’t matter if it did fit because the hole doesn’t line up with the firing pin! I have know idea why some of the reviews say it’s great. DONT BUY!

This product is a complete fraud put out China. The hole that the 22 blank sits in, is centred and will not fire because the 22 is rim fire. Not centre fired.
