In the material description it’s says cotton. When I received the item it says 100% polyester on the tag. Polyester rashes me out so that is a bummer.

This towel is excellent ! I am tall and this is a long towel for my longer yoga mat. It stays in place as it has grippy’s on the bottom. It soft.This towel is not your conventional towel so keep that in mind. It is thin and not bulky!

Having had multiple yoga towels over the years, I thought that I would try this thing out to save some money. It was more like a large, decorated rag for cleaning cars. It slipped on the mat, did not absorb, and really didn't do anything that one expects of a yoga towel. I would stick to a brand name towel in the future.
