I’ve been playing bass for about 20 years. I’ve owned several fender electric basses over the years. I avoided acoustic basses because all of the ones I played tore my fingers to shreds within minutes. I recently moved into a condo and wanted something quieter than an amplified electric bass that I could just pick up and play without using headphones. After a bit of online browsing, reading Amazon reviews, and watching YouTube videos, I decided on this one. I happened to find a reduced price open box Amazon Warehouse deal because of a small scratch on the black part near the sound hole (doesn’t bother me at all, especially when seeing it reminds me of how much money I saved), and I can confidently say that this instrument is worth every dollar, even at full price.First, this thing plays like a dream. As I said, previous acoustic basses I played tore up my fingers, but this is comparable to an electric precision bass. I can sit and play for an hour or two with zero discomfort. It’s comfortable to play not only for an acoustic, but one of the easiest basses I’ve ever played. The onboard tuner, while not something that would make or break my decision to purchase, is a welcome luxury. For me personally, the unplugged volume is exactly what I was looking for. I have not played it through an amplifier yet as that was not my purpose for purchasing it, but I do look forward to trying that out in the future, and I am glad to have that option when I’ll eventually need it. I also own a fender six string with a similar pickup system that faithfully recreates the acoustic sound, and I anticipate this one will work just as well. Finally, this bass is just very appealing to look at. The craftsmanship is superb, and I like displaying it on a stand in my living room.If you’re reading this, that means you’re probably considering buying this, and, if so, just do it! You will not be disappointed.

J’adore vraiment cet instrument, j’ai l’impression d’avoir un Fender à gros prix entre les mains. Je suis plutôt un joueur de guitare, mais cette bass ne quitte plus mes mains :-) je suis en amour ! ! !

Straight from Fender, last one to touch it was the QC guy, packed with care, strings still oily, just love it, when you spend that much on an instrument it's nice to get it brand new and not a floor model that sat there for 3 years.As for the sound, it's acoustic, don't start slapping those strings or galloping a Maiden rift, it resonates too much for that, but for classical stuff or just strumming chords it's perfect, it's a good bass for most needs without having to carry an amp, the sound is ultra clean, the touch is sensible enough for you piano player type.Only flaw is that head, way too wide and it doesn't fit in any hard cases for acoustic basses, you're gonna need a gig bag. :( (see picture)

It's certainly a very good instrument for the money. It was set-up and ready on arrival, just needing to be tuned, and the built-in tuner seems to be more accurate than a clip-on type when it comes to bass frequencies. Easy playing neck, friendly on arthritic hands. Crisp-sounding strings, will probably calm down a bit with playing, but unplugged surprisingly loud, nicely balanced tones - it may be a laminate top, but it's as responsive and rich as I'd expect from solid spruce. Intonation perfect, neck set-up perfect. Beautiful headstock and flamed top, inlays and binding really give it a unique look. Shipped VERY quickly, much faster than expected.

Set up nicely out of the box. Neck is very comfortable and easy to play. Sounds good unplugged and plugged in.Its a fender and is worthy of the name

It is a great bass, beautiful design, excellent sound. It is a very convenient instrument, instead of finding a spare socket and luggin around the bass amp around, this bass is just as simple as picking it up. 10/10 would recommend.

普段はエレキベースを弾いていますが、気が向いたときにさっと手に取って(まあ、エレキだってケーブル繋いでアンプのスイッチ入れるだけですけど 笑)弾けるベースが欲しくて購入しました。私の初アコースティックベースです。他のアコースティックベースと比較したわけではないので私の個人的感想になりますが、生音は予想していたよりも小さかったです。同じくフェンダーのアコギ(エレアコ)と生音同士で一緒に弾くと、ベースが半歩、いや一歩？下がった感じの音量でしょうか。まあ、アンサンブルとしてはそれくらいのバランスがいいのかも、です。フェンダーのミドルスケールのエレキベースを持っていますがスケールはそれと同等のようです。
