Other Friendly Tip:
Has a plug at the bottom simplifying the process of refreshing the water supply
- Pull the plug and empty and rinse out dirt once a week to avoid buildup, and they are all enjoying fresh water.
- Be sure to keep it out of direct sunlight or water will get too warm. I suggest putting it in a shady spot so that the water stays nice and cool.
- If you live where the water has minerals I would recommend you soak it in vinegar occasionally to avoid buildup.
- Put a small piece of copper in the water & it keeps the algae from growing or at a minimum so you don’t have to clean it as often!

I ordered this FTHONG 304 outdoor waterer and it has been hooked up less than a month and it’s already starting to rust on the inside! I bought it for my dog (who prefers to be outside) that way he would have constant fresh water at all times. It was very easy to assemble and it did NOT leak but the rust on the inside of the bowl sucks. I did clean it with a rag and it is 100% rust unfortunately. That is the only reason for the 2 stars! I’m posting this on 4/18/25
