My first smart watch and did my research before buying it. I didn’t want something too complex. So goad I bought it and wish I’d bought it sone time ago. Great battery life, super easy to set up and use after watching a youtube video. It’s great for monitoring activity including intensity, heart beat and range, trends, stress management and sleep. That’s even without purchasing prime which I may do once my fitness improves and I want more in-depth analysis information.

Have had this watch about 3 months or so. I dont have premium but its great for tracking exercise and even on a bicycle you can go to your phone app and see the map. If you shopping around do get one with GPS on board - you will wish you had if you dont. The VERSA 3 does have GPS. I also like that I can use Alexa with it and a huge selection of clock faces avail both Free and for purchase. Battery is suppose to last about 7 days but depends on the clock face if you have it ON all the time. Do note that if you plan to use GPS any value below 25% battery charge the GPS disables, so keep it charge before you good long bike or walk work out. I do miss the DASHBOARD on the web (only included with Premium subscription). It was pretty detailed. You do get a 3 month free Premium trial so depending on your needs you can continue the Premium if you like. First smart watch ever and was kinda not by choice but I do exercies more now and glad I have to watch to keep track of different exercies measure time, distance, calories, heart rate - etc. UPDATE MAY 2024: Watch would not connect to phone. Did a reset and watch never booted up again. Only lasted 1 year and about 2 months. Settled for a Amazfit Band 7 watch since it cost less nd FITBIT is no more or has transferred over to Google FIT app. - thus the Amazfit Band 7 watch.

Edit: They've removed all onboard music capabilities as of April 2023. It's a horrendous bait and switch by Google to position the pixel watch and I will avoid all Fitbit and google products from now onAn incredible fitness watch that has GPS, onboard spotify/deezer integration and an extremely long battery life. With AOD (Always On Display) on, I get at least 3 days of battery life which should be much longer if AOD is disabled, and charging the watch back to full takes less than an hour from 30%.There is an issue however, with certain phones (a POCO F3 in my case), where the notification tracker service will fail after a fitbit app or phone restart. The only way to remedy this is to delete all app data and re-log in to Fitbit which will be a huge hassle if you restart your phone frequently. Research more on the notification tracker problem to determine if it affects your phone model.

Good product, I like this watch. My main complaint and why I give 4 stars is the haptic button is very hard to use and does not respond 90% of the time. Took me some time to get used to this watch over my old one, but after the adjustment I do like it quite a bit.I also do not like that the speaker on the watch is very quiet when answering phone calls, there may be somewhere to adjust this but I have not found it yet. You need to be in a completely silent place to take calls.Seems to track well, is comfortable and looks nice. Decent watch, maybe not for the cost considering the few pretty crucial problems. If they put a button on instead of the haptic-would be a lot better IMO

My Versa 3 worked perfectly fine until a week or 2 ago. I haven't even had it for 6 months yet and the heart rate monitor has completely stopped working. At first, I noticed something was wrong because my battery was suddenly dead after just 2 days of use/wear, and I'd always previously obtained 5+ days out of my battery before needing to charge. I couldn't figure out why at first, and then on the 2nd day of this, I'd noticed that it stopped properly tracking my sleep the night before. It was showing only basic sleep details for the 8+ hours that I slept, the reason being, "Your tracker couldn't get a consistent heart-rate reading while you slept." Well dang. It's the heart-rate monitor draining my battery! After 5 days of this, the heart-rate monitor stopped working entirely. The lights on the underside of the watch have completely gone out and my watch (of course) has now lasted 5+ days before needing a charge. One strange thing is, despite the fact that it is still counting my steps (I typically get anywhere between 14'000 to 21'000 steps per day), it is also no longer tracking "Hourly Activity". I have it set to track hourly activity (minimum 250 steps/hr) from 7am until 5pm Mon-Fri (10 hrs/day), and it would always track 10/10 hrs. For some reason, despite still counting my steps, it now reflects 0/10 every day. Nothing. I mean, it's supposed to nudge you if it hasn't detected at least 250 steps by 10 mins before the next hour. If it's counting my steps, but not detecting any steps for my hourly activity, why isn't it sending nudges? Why am I getting 0/10 for hourly activity if it's still clocking 18'000 some-odd-steps every day? I can't figure it out. It's completely FUBAR.On top of all this, it is also tracking an OUTRAGEOUS # of Floors per day. Wildly inaccurate. It looks like that started sometime in January (after 3 months of having the watch), and would reflect around 20 floors (vs. the more accurate 8-10 per day I ACTUALLY get), and now it reflects somewhere between 80-100 floors per day. What the actual !@#$???I need to figure out how to get a replacement because this is just ridiculous. Like I said, haven't even had the thing for 6 months yet. My Versa 2 completely crapped out after 18 months and I hoped the upgrade to the Versa 3 would yeild better reliability. Super disappointed.

Love it works lovely and tracks my runs, biking etc with calls for phone with my Samsung. Battery when using all day including long walks with GPS obv less ut that is to be expected. Highly recommend.....UPDATE: still love the watch and what I use it for as sure motivates me when working from home and tracking etc. The only issue is that it died after 18months. COmpletely dead and fitbit doesn't do much as looking into it more the lifespans on all watched are may 2 yedars with the technology and warranty is 1 year. That is hard to stomach. I looked into other brands even apple which I don't have an IPhone and 2 years is standard today if it last longer great. Mine got a great deal of use as 24hrs a day I utilized for workouts, texts, tracking sleep etc. Guess just be aware of the realistic life span as it is what it is. still enjoyed it and will get another.

A nice upgrade from the Charge 2. However, not much of an upgrade from the Versa 2 other than a few things like GPS, slightly larger screen, SP02 tracking, some extra smart features such as taking calls on your watch, and a better band changing system. The battery life can be very bad if you have the always on function enabled and use the GPS. Charging is efficient, fast, and much better charging cable vs previous models.I'm loving this watch so far and the screen is visible in any type of lighting (sun, etc).Best to buy this on sale.

I've been an avid fitbit user for quite a few years. The upgrades on this one versus the prior versa are perfect. With Covid running rampant, I love the addition of the oxygen sensors. It gives me peace of mind on how my lungs are functioning while I sleep and given how hard oxygen readers have been to come by I am glad to see it as a new feature.I also enjoy the sleep breathing variability as it has helped us confirm what we figured was already going on with my wife's breathing and that she should br tested for sleep apnea.Another helpful change is the wrist band. The prior version the locking mechanism on the wrist band was difficult and broke easily, this one appears much sturdier and will hopefully prolong its use.I would recommend getting a protective cover for it to prevent scratches on the screen.I would recommend this to anyone looking for a comprehensive fitness tracker.
