No idea why my innocuous reviews are being rejected, so I'll do this one with no photo or video.Cool for the STEM-minded kid (or adult!) in your life. This seems to be a nice introductory ham radio for anyone in your life who might be interested in exploring that hobby. It comes with everything you need to get started and the manual for this one says it is authorized for use without licensing in Canada, subject to various other rules (in book).

pretty easy to use and the battery lasts quite a while. I wish I could set it to more frequencies though
