Also fits 1969 - 1997 production blocks and is ideal for engine swaps. Kit includes rear sump oil pan, dipstick, dipstick tube, pickup, and main cap stud. Holds up to 5-quarts or oil.

There is a design defect with the oil plug weld bung for the front sump. I assume it is on a production batch. Unfortunately, that batch is what Amazon has in stock (winter of 2025).The weld bung leaks. I tried 5 different gaskets and it still leaked. Removed (which is a pain) and ordered a new one. I could not return the leaker as I damaged the weld bung trying a new oil plug. The new oil plug was too tall and hit the oil pump.I leak tested new prior to install. It leaked. Contacted Ford Racing and sent them photos. They just had me return to Amazon. They did not want it returned to them for checking.Appears it is a known issue. I assume it is just a bad batch where there was a whoops and they tried to fix. There is another review of the same leak. Also others on a Facebook forum had the same issue.I assume some don’t catch the leak until after an oil change as the plugs are painted in place. The paint will seal and hide the leak.I found a used one that I plan to install. It passed the leak test.

The only problem was the holes in the pan and 1 piece gasket were to small for the bolts.
