Works well. I put these up, on the outside of my garage windows and they are still up and working great.

Just a suggestion, but please measure your window(s) before you purchase this item as they are about 3 inches too short width wise for my windows. The plastic is a little thicker than the plastic that came in mywindow weatherizing box (the red box).

I probably should have read about this product more closely. I need a heavier gauge outdoor application shrink film. This is a fairly this gauge (compared to what I need… which is 6mil).Comes with cardboard strips and finishing nails.I gave it a try and stapled a piece onto one of my frames and hit it with the heat. Not good. Don’t do it!!! The product is fine though… just not a fit for my application.

I have had these on my windows all winder paired with weather proof tape and I have not had to put my heat above 68degrees all winter. Living in upstate new york these worked very well

I ordered this from Amazon because the window on my basement door leaks cold air. I'm a *fix-it girl* and I had no problems with this kit. It comes with tiny nails, but I used my staple gun instead. I like it.

These storm windows are covering our outdoor catio so they can still venture out without freezing us out of the living room. Wish the plastic was clear and not opaque as it does limit their visibility, but, the fact they can get out for fresh air is the important part for now. Thank you

The quality of the product was not worth it. The trim is cardboard and the tiny nails will not work on modern windows. As for the plastic, i threw it away and used a stronger opaque plastic. It might work in areas where the temperature does not get as cold as my climate.

Just put these on the basement windows in preparation for window. Went on pretty easily. Time will tell whether or not they do anything.
