  • Easy to Use with Long Neck Wine or Plastic Bottles. Firstly, dig a hole in the soil. Secondly, insert the watering stakes into the soil gently. Fill the bottle or wine bottles with water, connect the bottle with stakes and turn upside down. Insert 7/8 part of the stakes into the soil to ensure better releasing effect. More stakes in the soil, more water is absorbed by the soil. Notice: For heavy bottles, you need to insert almost the whole stakes into soil so that the stakes will not break
  • Made of Terracotta - Slow Release Water Automatically: The plant watering device is made from terracotta clay, which is a little fragile due to its property. The terracotta watering spikes will release water automatically. Thinner the spikes, faster the draining speed. Therefore, you may still find the spikes broken when you receive it. Do not worry. We take full responsibility for that
  • Easyto to use: As long as you connect the recycled empty wine bottle to the plant stake and then stick into the hole dug previously in the soil, they will drip water automatically.
  • No Risk Buy Chance Only Here: If you have any questions, please let us know. We take the greatest pleasure to offer the most satisfactory shopping experience to you. Do not hesitate to buy the plant watering stakes here
  • Slow Release Watering Stakes for Vacation Use. There is no standard releasing time for the spikes. Usually 1 Litre of water could water about 7-10 days. The releasing speed of the plant watering stakes depends on the size of pot, soil composition, the need of plants and the climate. It is designed to prevent overwatering and ensure the watering when people go out for vacation. Please test the releasing speed of the plant waterer before you go out to protect your plant’s life

Wow, I was not sure but they seem to be very good quality and well packed. Thanks I think this will really help my plants when I forget to water them.

These spikes, hold a small to large bottle with a bit of a longer neck. They do what they’re supposed to in allowing the water to slowly sleep into the ground, but pushing too hard on one it broke. Loosen the ground a bit before you put them in.

I am the worst green thumb/gardener. I literally plant a seed and hope for the best. However, I get planters every year for the deck and front of the house with the hope that they'll make it to the end of the season. This year has been exceptionally hot and I've actually done a fairly decent job keeping these things alive. So, now we are going away for a few weeks and my go to house sitter and my back up are both gone for the majority of our time away. Thought I'd give these a try. Unlike other reviewers, ours came intact, none broken, packaged really well. I followed the advice of others and soaked the terracotta spikes for about 10 minutes prior to putting them into the soil. It was way easier to put them in then I thought they'd be. I didn't break any as I ensured I dug down deep enough. We were in the midst of our worst heat wave in our history when I started using these, thinking that they wouldn't work at all. However, they are amazing! After 5 days, my plants are thriving. Super easy to set up and other than checking the water level of the bottles, I can ignore my plants and know that they are going to make it another day. Way more impressed than I thought I'd be!

Update: 2 out of 10 broken by itself just after 2 weeks. I am using normal wine bottles. So it increased the cost. Guess the product is a bit on the fragile side.***********This product works well but just a bit pricey. But honestly, other brands are all pricey nowadays. So, not its fault.

Being terra cotta they are water permeable but also quite delicate. Don’t try to just ram them into the ground. You might also want to have a stabling rod or two to help the bottle stay in place. I didn’t water the plants generally and can see where the spikes are providing water. A bit fussy to refill but a useful addition to the watering programme.

Good product, only problem was 1 broke as soon as I put it in the ground (in a pre dug hole). It still holds the bottle but I’m disappointed it broke so easily (no visible signs of cracks). Still think they work well.
