Gives me comfort that equipment plugged into it will be protected in my rack in my home studio. If I was touring regularly, I might pick up a PRO unit, but the Furman Merit series is right at home, at home!

Clean power with enough outlets for my small equipment rack. Live the wall wart spacing of some outlets and also the convenience outlet in the front… neat & tidy!

The box was soaked when I received it. It was a refurbished, and through a 3rd party seller, not Furman directly. Half price for the refurbished. IT looked like the box was never opened, just got wet and they sold it cheap. Works like a champ. I use 1.for my gaming PC and peripherals, 1 for my work PC and peripherals, and 1 for my guitar and bass amps. Same model. The oldest one is over 10 years old with 0 issues. This let'se.have power for everything on top of my desk with 1 switch but looks way better than a standard power strip. Also much sturdier than any power strip with better plug spacing and protection.

Good power Co dinner for the money it has already saved my tens of thousands of dollar hifi system from power surges I highly recomend one of thises if u got expensive audio equipment this will save it in the event of a power surge or black out price was good overall I love it would deffinaly buy again and recomend

Este es producto de bajo costo pero muy alta prestación. Para quienes gustamos de equipos de casa de gama media alta, está es una exelente opción, protege muy bien los equipos, en mi caso tengo un classe ca101 solo al prenderlo daba un bajón de luces, pero con furman se acabó eso, ademas de que el sonido tiene más cuerpo y fluida y con cuerpo en los bajos.Del los filtros no puedo decir, ya que tengo un subido en las bocinas, pero eso es de algún equipo cercano que aún no identifico.En general es muy buena opción para quien empieza en el audio de alta gama o para un estudio.

Review: Furman M-8X2 Merit SeriesRight on!!! Got this budget priced power conditioner in hopes it will quiet down some small humming or buzzing issues in my setup. I have a really budget music station. Basically a entry level Project turntable, low cost phono pre amp made by Rolls, and a Yamaha rs202 amp. I also hook up a chromecast audio to the amp.There was some faint weird buzzy sound and radio noise happening. I just turn up the volume max and I hear it. I grounded everything as good as I thought. But then decided to try this power line conditioner... It fit the bill. Workeddddddd!!!!! Superb clean sound now. So happy. !Solid construction.A few plugs at the back are spaced out to account for wall wart plugs. And nice to have one plug at front of the rack.The only issue I can see here is I see NO CSA or any other electronics safety certification markings...... I have an issue with that. So I need to mark down a star.

The product when switched on for the first time made a loud bursting sound and there were little flames and burnt smell. I contacted BNext about this, they said I could return it but no one has picked this up from me so far!

Not much to say about this.. It's a power bar.. Yes, a very good one, but not many "bells and whistles" to talk about. What I *can* say is that it was delivered promptly, gave me plenty of sockets to plug my home sound system equipment into, and provides some "peace of mind" that my amp, dac, etc. are all provided filtered power with reliable surge protection. Very happy with this at the price point it was.. Would recommend.
