The item was exactly as described. It's a heavy duty tow chain. I got the 5/16" that is rated for 5400lbs. I'm pulling a car soon around the yard that weighs around 5000lbs, so if I don't update this post later then it worked fine. All the joints on the chain look great and this isn't some ferrite metal painted to look like steel, it's solid steel. If you need a tow chain I recommend this one, especially given the price.

I have a large flat bed trailer with a winch and I am occasionally asked by friends and family to help them move a broken vehicle. It is difficult to find a point on most vehicles to attach a regular chain to, so I often used my 4x4 recovery straps. But they tend to get cut on bolts and don't live a very long life under that use.These hooks are just like the tow trucks have, which will hook on most vehicles front A-arms, axle or built in tow points.Definitely a must have for loading various vehicles without their own power.
