If the engine won't start and the tank is full of fresh fuel, test the carburetor by removing the air filter and pouring about a teaspoon of fuel into the carburetor.Pull the starter rope.If the engine starts and then quickly dies, the carburetor is likely the problem.
When replacing carburetor it is advised that you also replace carburetor gaskets to ensure proper air tight seal for optimum performance. You will need a screwdriver to perform this repair.

Pressure washer with honda motor wasn't starting after putting in new gas and installing new plug. I decided to replace carburator and now runs like a new machine. Took 45 minutes max to replace.

The carburator did not fit much Honda mower. The linkage rods supplied were too short. I would like to return it.Please advise.

The carb replaced the original with only a couple of minor issues, and the mower is now running great!My mother's mower was often left with old gas over the winter months, and the last few years has been surging with it getting to the point of un-useable by the end of last year. This carb replaced the original with only a couple of issues ...1) the choke spring on the original had a 1/2" plastic pin sticking up for the choke lever to engage - this carb didn't have the pin, but there is a hole where the pin should be, so I put in a 3/4" screw and it engages just fine.2) the governor rod & springs as well as the fuel hose are all too short for the mower, but I was able to reuse the originals.So, 4 stars for an almost perfect replacement which fired up no problem & runs so much smoother!!!

La quincaillerie fournie ne s'adapte pas à tous les modèle de tondeuses et la bougie ne fait pas sur le moteur, mais j'avais seulement besoin du carburateur. Assez facile à remplacer et la tondeuse fonctionne comme une neuve maintenant.

Perfectly tuned carb that breathed new life into my 20 year old honda 217 hrs. The springs didnt fit but I used the rest. How can I not give 5 stars for a brand new carb for 25 bucks!
