Your cart is empty.The Generac 6484 Maintenance Kit is for standby home generators with 12-18-Kilowatt 760cc - 990cc engines. Scheduled maintenance is a necessity for all standby generators. The Generac 6484 Air Cooled Scheduled Maintenance Kit offers all the hardware necessary to perform maintenance on your Generac air-cooled generator. Maintenance is recommended every 200-hours or 2-years and if your generator is running in a dusty environment a more frequent maintenance schedule may be required. The Generac 6484 Maintenance Kit contains a pre-cleaner, air filter, oil filter, oil funnel, (2) spark plugs, chamois, instruction manual and preventative maintenance reminder sticker. As advertised, and included detailed instructions. Videos on YouTube made it a breeze. I wish I had changed the oil at the year point. I will do it every year from now on. After two years the filter and plugs looked like what I installed(still new-looking). Great kit and maintains the warranty.

This generic kit saves time and trouble trying to source the contents individually. Every annual service item is included except the readily available oil. Good deal all around and a very fair price.

The dealer wanted close to 300.00 to perform maintenance on my in-laws 14kW standby generator.This kit and the oil was closer to 60.00 and the maintenance was quite simple to do.Spark plugs were pre-gapped, so it is a simple swap.The hardest part was getting the oil filter off, which IMHO had been tightened a bit much by the previous dealer maintenance crew.I would buy this kit again.

I had an electrician quote me $400 for what took me a half hour to do myself. The $400 quote was for just labor, parts were extra. Very simple to do.
