The compass is a high quality, antique replica of an original compass trusted by mariners over the ages. The case is made of the finest solid brass; the compass face is covered by beveled glass. It is a little over two inches in diameter and comes with a gold display stand. Engraved on the reverse side is the inspirational scripture from Joshua 1:9 (“Be Strong and courageous! For the Lord thy God is with the wherever you go”).

We gave this compass to our 7-year-old grandson for his baptism, and he LOVES it. He hooked it on his belt loop and said he’s never taking it off. The quality and accuracy of this compass exceeded our expectations.

I am very pleased with the compass. The shine is beautiful, along with the Bible passage inside. We will be giving this to our thirteen year old grandson for his confirmation in October. He is an avid hunter, always in the woods, so this will help guide him not only in the woods, but also through his life. The chain is nice, he can clip it to his belt loop and not loose it. When he's not using it, it came with a very nice storage box to put it in. Very glad I bought it.
