Great guitar stand. The price is not too high. It is sturdy and strong, lightweight. It does fold and can be transported with ease. Not the best I have seen but it does do what I need it to do. Great for the traveling musician or just for the home.

I thought this was a dual music stand and guitar stand combo but it isn't. You can either pop off the top and put the guitar stand holder on it or put a sheet music holder on it. Because it's so tall this works really great as a stand for electric bass guitars and I use it as a stand for my Squier J-Bass. What's neat is that it not only prevents the instrument from falling over but the legs are padded so you can adjust the height so that the body of your instrument just about touches it and it feels nice and secure. And if I ever needed a sheet music stand I could always pop off the guitar neck holder and put the sheet music holder in its place. It's really great two in one, I just wish they'd made it clearer that you can only use it for one purpose at a time.

I'm using this to hold a banjo I'm practicing with but it holds either of my guitars just as well. It's sturdy and has even withstood my bloodhound walking into it accidentally with no sign of tipping over. I'd recommend it.
