If you do your reading, you'll find that these are far too large for hummingbirds. However, they are super cute and well made. I placed them around. Secured 2 to a small tree with zip ties and hung one with my hanging basket on my porch. Lots of birds took interest and a Carolina Wren decided it was the perfect spot for her to hatch some babies. She added her own materials of course but it has provided a fabulous spot for hatching. If you're thinking about it, just do it. I have loved watching this unfold!

If you pamper your finches then these nests are for you! I fill them full of cotton fluff from Amazon and then run one bread twist tie through the back and another through the top loop and attach both to my cage to secure. When I first brought home my finches, they slept on the perch the first few nights as they didn’t know what they were missing. Now, you can’t get them out…lol. They take naps in them, they sleep in them, they enjoy burrowing in and peeking out. They sit on the top and enjoy the view. They are pretty happy and it gives them a place to feel safe in. These are very sturdy and have plenty of room for them to sit, or sleep or move around in. Top three off with plenty of fluff and they are living their best life!

My wife LOVES hummingbirds and we are blessed in having a number of them around but she is always looking for ways to attract more and these nests looked like a great opportunity to do that.Upon receiving them, I did some research regarding nesting habits and conditions and we have concluded that although these nests are a bit big that what we have spotted around our property, they are very much in line with those created by the birds themselves. We will be installing them as described, in preparation for next season and look forward to seeing the results.The construction of these "hand woven" nests appears to be very good and a looped feature on the top of them, will make them easy to hang.The price point of these nests makes them worthy of purchase in and attempt to foster your own little population, it is nowhere near a big investment financially.Very pleased and impressed.Recommended.
