I got this to store my hat on a shelf in closet to keep its shape safe as well one to use in the laundry to dry my husbands ball caps. Both are stylish for display and functional. Like the height is adjustable as well.

I use these to hold up antique helmets. They are perfect for use in this capacity, with a nice domed top rack to hold the helmet liner without damaging the antique leather. The stem and base are robust enough to not flex or wobble under the weight of these metal helmets.Assembly was easy: first the top screws in easily, second the bottom base needs a cut thru the pad for the screw to go into the stem. The stem has one of these screws already screwed in, and there are spares in the baggie that comes with it too. I simply used a box cutter to push an X cut in the pad where the screw hole is: the benefit of doing it this was is that it ensures a snug fit for the screw coming up from the bottom, and the screw has the pad between it and the metal, so the tension means you can make it really tight without needing the supplied Allen wrench to hold the screw from spinning. It is still flush when screwed in so the base is perfectly stable.Lastly, the stem has a side screw that when loosened allows it to telescope a good amount so you can adjust heights. This is awesome as I can stagger the display heights for my helmets. These are the best helmet stands I have found yet, obviously they work great for hats too!
