I like the smoked appearance vs the red. It blends nicely with the Timberland Mica color paint of my Tacoma. It doesn’t come with longer screws because the stock 2nd gen screws are too short for the thicker housing of this light. I had to improvise with a couple of screws I already had. The 3rd gen screws might be longer. Also the stock light has an adhesive on the foam which seals very well. This light doesn’t have an adhesive which it may not need, but it wouldn’t hurt to have the extra protection in my opinion. It seems bright enough and improves the look a lot compared to the 2nd gen brake light.

Good upgrade for your 2nd gen Tacoma. Doesn’t come with screws. did not reuse the same screw cause it’s too short. I used a regular black Philips screw. Fit perfectly. Comes with black rubber washer, which is good so that the screw won’t be directly on the plastic. I also used sealant, just to be safe. Looks good in the night. Buy it to see for yourself.

Fit my 2nd gen Tacoma perfect. Packaging was good enough and exactly as pictured. Looks really good and functions as well.
