Looks good.. install was easy.. nice bright... but the cargo lights on right side burnt out just after a year... pay a bit more and get the better one

Not impressed. The plug would not lock into place so had to use tape to keep it together. The light itself did not fit perfectly, had to break the two little tabs off to get it into place. The foam washer was much thinner than the OEM one that was on the original light. Really hope it does not leak! Also, not as bright as I had hoped, the regular OEM Incandescent Bulbs were brighter. Moral of the story is you get what you pay for, went cheap and got cheap. I give it about a month (until it warms up a bit) before I buy an OEM foam washer and a replacement bulb and reinstall the original light and trash this piece of junk. If it wasn’t so cold I would take it out tonight and return it but the weather is not cooperating.

Had to remove the little plastic tabs on the light for it to fit properly and use the old screws from previous light as the didn’t fit .

Light looks good, as others have said, you will have to cut or shave down the alignment tabs to get it into place, at least I did on my 2017.Doesn't line up quite as good as the OEM light in the hole, but good enough as long as you're not in the bed looking at it closely. Many people seem to have had issues with leaking into the cab or light housing, I have not, but I made sure to seal up the light housing and hole into the cab (where the wiring harness comes through from the cab). I put a piece of adhesive foam over the hole behind the light (that leads into cab roof), and cut a small slit at the top for the harness to go through. This is a common leak spot for this generation of ram, whether with the factory light or aftermarket. Water can get in behind the light if the gasket leaks, and then makes its way into the headliner of the truck, and runs down the pillars into the carpet as well.In addition to the foam sheet sealing the hole into the cab itself, I took some clear silicone caulking and put a bead all around the seam on the light casing itself (where the lens attached to the casing), and then a bead around where the light mounts to the cab so it is not visible at all, but it sealed up very well.I'm not convinced using just the gasket that came with it, would keep water out of the cab. The gasket supplied is NOT as good as the OEM one, not even close. The supplied one is cheap thin adhesive foam, the OEM one is more like good 3M tape, but I would not recommend trying to reuse the OEM gasket when installing this, as it would likely leak when trying to reuse. The best way to keep it from leaking is to do what I did, use the crappy supplied gasket, but trace it with a good bead of silicone and make sure the silicone fully seals along the top and sides, leave the bottom free of silicone though so if water does manage to get in, it can exit at the bottom if needed. Then, put a sheet of some sort of waterproof adhesive as well over the hole behind the light, where the wiring harness comes from, this way if any water manages to get past the gasket and sillicone, it won't get into the cab and stain your headliner. We have had several very big rainstorms since I installed the light this way, and it has not leaked into the casing (some people seem to have had this issue, thats why I sealed the seal of thd lense as well with sillicone) or into my cab at all.The light is also angled slightly wrong for use as a cargo light, I find it is pointed more out behind the truck than into the bed, and almost lights the bed less than the OEM, but does output more light overall (slightly), output is not as good as hoped though. I fixed this by installing separate LED lighting strips in my bed under the bed rails after.Overall, the light is a great deal for the price, but be very careful with the installation and make sure to seal it up very well, and clean up any caulking that might get into your paint or on the lens before it drives. Use a lot of it and it won't leak!***3 month updateStill holding up well. No leaks in my cab or inside the lense. As mentioned above though, I sealed up the joints in the lens with a little silicone, sealed off the hole behind the light into the cab roof where the harness comes through, and sealed up behind the light with silicone in addition to the gasket, so I hope none of the LEDs fail as it will be a pain to remove! But it does not leak like my OEM one was starting too.Cargo light is pretty dim though, honestly almost dinner than the OEM halogen cargo light. If you're looking for a better cargo light for lighting your bed up, I suggest just putting LED bulbs into your OEM light, as the angle in this one is different as well and lights behind the truck more than in the bed. I did install additional bed lighting though so it is not an issue for me.

The cargo light is nice and bright, and the brake light is bright. Looks nice on my black truck definitely worth the money.

Install was simple, just like factory. Read some of the other comments and put some silicone around it. Will update if anything changes, but the light matches the smoked black taillights I got.
