On first look it seems nice. I was shocked to see I not just folded in half but packed so tightly with packing wrap I’m concerned about it.

Nice but the design is not as advertized because of the stitched hole which has been added in order to fold the scabbard in two for shipping, which defeats the protective aspect and intended function of the scabbard.

I love this scabbard, the classic design, the exterior durability, etc. - in fact it hangs in my truckbed from the bedrails 100% of the time with my Henry Golden boy inside. Only problem was upon first use the interior wool lining was pulled out of the stitching upon first draw of my rifle. I was forced to cut it out at the center to keep the rifle smoothly going in and out of the scabbard while also maintaining good inside retention.
