Actually a very nice little birdhouse, more for outdoor decor than nesting. Generall6, very rare for hummingbirds to nest in an enclosed nest/space such as this. This well finished birdhouse will be largely decorative do our outside hummingbird migration. They are gone now for the season, but we look forward to their return every year. This little guy will simply give them something to be curios about and add a nice decor to our feeders.As seen in pic, it came with a significant crack al9mg the back, and it looks like in the weather it may onl6 expand over time, therefore the loss of 2 stars.Enjoy decorating you yard in the spring!

We have hummingbird feeders so we get hummingbirds and we enjoy seeing them every day and were excited to see a hummingbird house so ordered it right away. It was only later when researching where the best place was to hang it that I discovered that they will not use enclosed nests like this.It will likely still get hung this spring so maybe a different bird can use it and we can enjoy watching them as well.
