I've got a couple of older Maxon and Midland handhelds that I keep at work for "just in case" use. The range wasn't the greatest and the rubber was starting to come apart around the coils on the original antennas. I thought I'd get this antenna to both keep the old radios in service and increase the range at the same time.This installed without any issues with the BNC style connector. Transmissions and receptions are now clearer and the range is probably 15 to 20% better. The quality is good and I'd recommend the product.

Liked the quality and feel of this antenna . A bit longer and thinner than the aerial that came with the radio . As far as any improvement goes , to be honest I noticed very little difference . There might have been a slight improvement on reception but very little else . The 21" version of this aerial which looks the same only longer does give an improvement on range and reception . I think it`s also made by HYT but I think it`s a copy of the Albrecht aerial , which gets good reviews on You Tube .

L'antenna era in un buono stato ma non ho potuto usarla x attacco sbagliato hò fatto il reso.Ci vogliono più informazioni sugli articoli non solo questo.Se si vende in Italia devono esserci i manuali in italiano.

buen producto al tacto y a la vista hace falta probarlo bien .ya contare, es rigida, menos los 10 ultimos centimetros de la punta,..donde pasa a ser flexible.
