Update: After further testing i have to change my 4 star to 5 star - This plate saved me from a serious headache. I had a Silk PLA that i could not get to stick properly to the Bambu textured plate, i did all the tricks.. Cleaned w/ soap & water, upped the bed temp slowed down the first 2 layers no fan, and even put a short pause before moving on to 3rd layer; nothing worked and i did not want to use glue on a textured plate, long story short i popped in the IdeaFormer plate and this finicky PLA stuck perfectly at stock temps.Great holding power with PLA and PETG, prints release easy after (fully) cooling, though PETG holds a bit stronger, glue or release agent might be recommended. Textured pattern is less than Bambu or other plates but not quite smooth either. Leaves a slight textured pattern on the print. Plate definitely feels slightly thinner than other plates but overall it works really really well. Durability of its surface would be the only unknown.. But, i can say this, i have never had an issue with Silk or PETG marring the finish on texture plates but i have had them marr if not damage my smooth plated unless i used glue. So far the IdeaFormer plate showed no signs whatsoever of marring or damage from the silk PLAI originally took off 1 Star because i had adhesion issue at lower temps with PLA, at 30 or 40C . Normally 55C on PLA, but you can get away with 50C - Same result with PETG anything less than 70C had adhesion issues, especially prints with 6" base or larger base, edges lift. Overall, great plate that feels less slick to the touch then Bambu and priced comparable with other plates. The plate does have the potential to hold filaments at lower than default temps but it seems to vary between brands and types so, you will need to experiment a bit though. I would definitely recommend it if you need/want better adhesion and/or less of a texture, but not fully smooth bottoms.

Got this plate for my P1S combo to try it out and see how well it performs. I sliced my file using the high temp smooth plate setting in Bambu studio. I went with a default generic settings using PLA filament. I used a really hard print to test it out Ray the Manta Ray and hit print. This is one of those really hard prints to get right but if you have your machine dialed in with your filament, the results are amazing. Well 21 hours later I got the notification that it was complete. I don't know how well it releases from the bed, because of the 5 prints I've ran on it so far all have completed while I was at work, so it had more than enough time to cool down. I have to admit that it's nice not even removing the build plate to get your model off, just reach in and it releases, no flexing the build plate for me so far. After 5 prints that I have tested out on this plate, none have failed due to the plate issues. They have all came out great and the interface layers look great. Just remember when switching between build plates ALWAYS go into studio and do a bed calibration, that resets your Z offset for the build plate. I have 20 different build plates that I switch between and since starting this resting of the Z offset I've had no issues.Good build plate with good adhesion, not super tacky like some of these build plates but enough to hold your model in place while you print it and EASY removal so far with me.

Bambu Lab Matte PLA detached from 35 c which is Bambu Studio default settings for cool plate. It printed without issue using textured PEI plate setting, it's kinda defeat the purpose of having cool plate.

Cool plates seem to be all the rage these days (even though Bambu Lab discontinued their original cold plate from a few years ago) since BIQU's release of the Frostbite and Glacier plates. Now everyone including Bambu Lab has now come out with their version. When I saw Ideaformer's version cross my Amazon feed, I thought I'd give it a try even though I really don't have a pressing need for it.People gravitate to these plates for a few reasons, typically for things like power saving or adhesions issues. For example some people struggle with PETG sticking to the bed too much (and some don't realize that using glue actually helps with release in these cases, rather than increasing adhesion). The theory with cool plates being that lower temps will reduce bed adhesion. And that is certainly the case with this plate, in fact you will probably need to use some glue now to actually help the prints stick.Using the "Textured Cool Plate" option in Orca Slicer on my Bambu Lab X1C, which selects a bed temp of 40C for PETG, I attempted to print some small PETG parts without using any glue. Both prints released from the bed prematurely, before the print finished. Trying again using Bambu Lab liquid glue fixed that problem. So just be aware that you might be trading one adhesion issue for another, and if your goal was to use a cool plate to avoid having to use glue as a release agent for PETG, you might be disappointed since now you may have to use glue to actually keep the print stuck to the plate.I really don't know how much I'll use it, since I've had no issues with bed adhesion with any filaments or plates (and I print just about every filament you can imagine, from PLA and PETG to ASA, PC, PA6, and PET with and without CF), and I'm not really concerned with saving power (which would be almost imperceptible anyway since it does actually heat the bed around half way still), but I'll keep it handy should some new filament give me trouble. It gives me options as well as a backup plate should I need one.

Worked great. Thinner than stock, so make sure you run setup/tests accordingly.I also noticed after reading other reviews that mine did not come with the printed sheet. No worries.
