These held up good for the last bit theyโve been in my car I have no complaints about them really! Ground wire was a bit short but still worked just fine ๐

Soo happy with this install kit! Was more than enough to run wires in my little Versa. Very happy with quality and length of the cords etc. Very easy to use.

Worked well, good price for what you get, but as mentioned the crimp connectors and ring terminals are not good

Perfect length. Had lots of slack running the wire from the engine bay battery, through side panels and into the trunk of a 06 Corolla. All of the wire is good quality.Came with every thing needed, even lots of extra speaker wire! Nice kit for only $30 ๐

Have connected to 2000w amp running a 1200w sub works fine. No overheat or melting. The included inline power fuse is a solid old school fuse. Looks awesome and works great. Only complaint is the included end pieces for the wires are kinda cheap but they do the job just fine

Purchased this product because of good value for the price. Unfortunately, when it arrived and was opened, Saw the fuse holder doesnt have any type water ingress protection. If installed in the engine bay, water will damage the end of the wires going into fuse and the water will wick its way into the wire further. This kit is only good for cars that have batteries inside the car, such as under seat or in trunk compartment, otherwise its not recommended.

Know your required lengths going into the job and this kit is fantastic. Good quality flexible cables and easy to work with overall. Plated and insulated RCA options would be nice, but this is a good solid kit with cable ends, tie straps and more or less everything you need. Bigger cable ends can be tricky to keep on it you aren't soldering them on, after you crmp them you may want to use a phillips screwdriver tip in the middle of the crimp and hit it solidly with a hammer to really lock it down and get a good connection.

Ok so let's remember this is a cheap freaking kit. $20 doesn't buy you a good meal these days so please keep this in mind. This kit is not competition grade at all, the wire is CCA meaning the actual core is made of aluminum which as we all know is not as conductive as copper. Aluminum dispels heat quickly and conducts better than standard steel. Aluminum is also not nearly as reactive as copper so over time this will hold up better to corrosion. These are true 4 gauge wires meaning lots of metal little rubber. For the money you will not get a better wire. The speaker wire is good for lower power setups, it is 12 gauge so it isnt for a real 2-3kw system. For 800-1200 watts this will work great. To sum up this note is for people building real systems the 5kw "insert cheap brand" amp you are buying for $120 isnt going to put out 5k more like 800-1200 watts if you're lucky. As for the equipment, the connectors aren't the best but with some work they will do fine. The fuse is 120w if you can blow that with your system you either need to invest more in your wiring or find your short. The rca cables are pretty generic but I've had no distortion issues. To sum up the whole review for people who hate to read. This is a great, phenomenal, wonderful kit for 20-30 bucks. If you are building a single sub kit in your car or just installing a few subs on a lower end amp this kit will do the job with no issues. If you are building a 1-2k dollar system in your car with a good high wattage amp that puts out proven numbers please invest in a real copper kit preferably 0 gauge. My two cents for what they are worth to help those of you confused as to why people are putting 1 star and 5 star reviews, they likely dont care that this is a $20 kit they want to spend 20 and get $200 worth of equipment.

Excellent kit at a great price. The power lines have good internal wire thickness, bigger than the last 8-gauge kit I used. Fittings/connectors also seem to be high quality. I wish the RCA cables were right angled on one side, and they're too long for my application (17 ft) , but no other complaints. Buy this one.

Several years ago I had bought a dual amp kit by Rockford Fosgate, it was around $180, we will call it $150. The price of this InstallGear is crazy low and the quality of the wires is very good. I swapped out my Rockford Fosgate as I like to replace my wiring every few years or so and the sound quality is literally the same. No static or any odd interference. I do plan on buying this product in the future and recommend to anyone who has some sort of system in their car that requires a kit.
