The nuts which hold rivets are too big compared with the one I had before. I had to use my old one to finish some jobs because of this.

The JiGiU 2 in 1 Rivet Nut Tool and Rivet Gun is decent for light to moderate tasks, though the quality of the rivet gun itself isn’t the best. I did find this rivet gun a little bit frustrating to switch between the nut gun mode and the rivet gun mode the first time I used it. I had to look at the instructions, as well as the pictures and video on the Amazon listing. It is much easier now that I have switched it back and forth a few times.I had a pin stuck in the rivet jaws that would not come out the first time I used the rivet function. I had to disassemble the rivet attachment to get the pin out and then play with the 3 little silver jaws to get them back into proper position. There is no instructions for this in the manual. You also have to be careful when screwing in different parts, as some of them are reverse threaded as noted in the instructions. Note: the plastic knob just pulls off it doesn't unscrew.Overall, it is a good quality rivet gun and it it works well once you get over the initial learning curve.

The instructions leave a little to be desired; I didn’t find the illustrations very clear, and it took a while to properly identify the parts in the box. Once I realised what was going on, all was plain sailing.The tools produced very good results with not too much effort. The long handles make installing the Rivnuts very easy but does mean the tool isn’t suitable for use in tight spaces.The pop-riveting function also works extremely well. The removable container that catches the rivet offcuts is great.There’s a large selection of jaw sizes available for each type of fastener which make the tool suitable for all kinds of projects.Highly recommended.
