I have put together 6 other kits this is the worse one the pieces do not fit. The kit was unusable, pieces broke and holes were too small.

This item was the worse book nook I have ever put together I had to drill a hole in the front top to be able to put the trim on, the instructions are very misleading. Don’t waste your money on this item. Some of the parts are to fragile the legs to the table are so thin they just brake off.

So the final product is very pretty but the journey to get there is extremely difficult. The instructions are mislabeled in many places for example it says insert D14 but in fact it should be c 12 but you don’t find that out until half way through realizing that you now need the piece it told you to use. Also the wood is very very fragile and thin so it falls apart and breaks way too easy. The kit is pretty expensive so I expected better quality and fit yes plan to file EVERYTHING. This kit is most definitely not for beginners nor someone who gets frustrated easily.

This is a nice book nook kit. It is fairly comparable to other decent ones out there. The instructions are okay. I am not the best at these either way, but I was able to follow them all right. It would be a great gift for an older child that used to love dollhouses and may have outgrown them and likes puzzles. It will take some time to do.

I ordered this not realizing it’s a puzzle and ultimately decided it was a bit more than I could currently handle, so I decided to gift it yo someone. The box that it comes in is cardboard, but is a pretty dark blue with gold writing (meant to resemble an old book) and will be a pretty way for my mom to be surprised. I only docked one star because it looks like a legitimately difficult puzzle that might be hard for the average person. Very cute idea though.
