The most disappointing is the xylophone, which is completely out of tune with repeating notes even though the bars are different lengths.The cymbal and the wooden percussion instruments are pretty good quality, with full rich sounds.The whistles make inconsistent sounds, with a quiet squeeky whistle and the other a honk like a goose.The bells on the wooden handle is solid and quality, but the bells with plastic handles feel cheaper, definitely breakable in the hands of an energetic, overzealous kid. There are 2 plastic bell "instruments" that look and feel like baby toys/rattles. I guess if you have kids that are a range of ages this has a bit of everything, but if you have kids a bit older, some of these items might cause issues.

This "bag of music" is everything you need to teach basic rhythm and sounds to a group of young children. These act as critical first steps in music structure, after all.This set offers a good assortment of instruments, with the only downside being the somewhat cheap quality. Of course, that's not necessarily a bad thing as the sheer number of instruments is the attraction and not necessarily the longevity if any individual instrument.All in all, a worthwhile option to consider if you're looking for a cost-effective way to teach basic rhythm to a large, young audience.

I was looking for a musical set to to gift my 6 month old niece and this set was more than amazing! It had all the necessary musical toys and more to keep my niece interested! Usually a musical set contains 6-10 items. However, this set contains more than 20 instruments. The instruments are not massive in size and are appropriate for little ones to hold and play with. There are shakers, maracas, jingle bells, xylophone and more! All which can be held in a little bag! The quality of the product was not compromised although there is a lot in quantity. The sounds are immaculate and the wood quality in some of the instruments are great as well. I foresee my niece continuing to play with this as a toddler as well. It’s definitely something that a child can grow with and a great gift idea!

We always try to keep some musical toys around for kids to play with, and this little bag of fun makes sure we have lots to use all the time. There's lots of variety here, from tamborines and bells, to xylophones and whistles. While a couple of these are slightly more annoying than others, the kids love them all, and quickly picked favourites. While some of the instruments are more common that you'd find in pretty much all musical kits, a few different ones were a welcome surprise. There's a full classroom's worth of toys in here, with every kids getting to pick an instrument with enough left over for even the teachers to join in.When it's all said and done, it packs into the included plastic little bag, making clean up easier. The bag actually fits everything too, it's not like one of those ones where you'll never get it repacked. We have successfully packed it 3 times so far with no troubles, and the bag seems to be holding up well with the cloth seams.

I was looking for a way to introduce my toddler to music while keeping her entertained at home. I got this wooden musical instrument set, and she loves shaking the maracas, tapping the xylophone, and making noise with all the different pieces. The bright colors and variety keep her engaged for long play sessions.Pros:- 20-piece set offers great variety (shakers, xylophone, bells, etc.)- Bright, colorful designs appeal to toddlers- Mostly wooden construction feels durable- Helps develop motor skills and musical interest- Comes with a storage bag for easy cleanupCons:- Some plastic parts feel cheaper than expected- Says not for 0-3 years old, so must be watched by parents when playing- Storage bag is flimsy and not toddler-safe

When I saw this musical instrument bag of goodies online, I knew it was something I wanted for my grandkids. As a former daycare provider, I always loved music as part of our play. First impressions – it was well wrapped, and everything was bright and colorful. That it was stored in a little carry case was a bonus.Each item was wrapped separately in the carry bag and once I pulled everything out, I noticed the xylophone had 2 small plastic looking screws (appeared glued on) not connected and loose at the bottom of the carry bag. This was before I took off the plastic and while removing the plastic another fell off. Unfortunately, that makes the xylophone a safety concern in my opinion, as loose pieces could pose a choking hazard for little ones. I chose to remove it from the set altogether. Aside from that item, all the other items, which I checked thoroughly, appeared very solid.This is a lovely musical toy set overall — just be sure to give each piece a quick check before handing it over to the little ones.

These musical instruments are super bright and colorful and fun for the kids to use. I love the set. It's perfect for home use or a classroom to teach kids about different instruments and different noises. Great educational set and tons of fun.
