they are perfect for kids. but i used a few of them for work. I work in a restaurant, and we ding bells for the servers to know an order is up. and the actual hammer to hit the bells are plastic so they are harder to hear. but thats a good thing if you are giving them to a toddler.

These are phenomenal!! I have 3 kids on the spectrum and they all love them. They were able to play along using the book and quickly memorized songs.Great musical addition to our relaxation tools.
