Having read such good reviews, I decided to look no further for my grandson's first birthday present. It's a really super set of instruments (and lovely looking too), and he's having a great time using them! It does say not suitable for under 18 months, but no real worries there - maybe just keep an eye on the xylophone sticks. Everything else appears to be perfectly safe. I can't recommend this musical instrument set highly enough.

These musical toys are fantastic for the little ones. They all make a unique sound and keeps the babies busy for a while. I like that they're not a choking hazard. The toys are very durable. As for the price I do think it's a tad high at $40, but not horrible. Overall its a great toy kit that will last. Overall I have no complaints.

Bought for 8 month old as a Christmas present. She only used it for 6 days before a piece of the tambourine came off! There was a loose metal pin she could’ve choked on! So scary, these are not safe for infants.

I got these for my nieces, but my teenagers couldn’t resist playing with them too. The instruments are colorful and durable, and the xylophone has a nice sound. It’s a fantastic gift for little ones and even fun for older kids.

This is a very well made wooden musical set for babies and toddlers! The wood is nicely carved and smooth with rounded edges. Lots of different instruments to peak creativity and different sounds with the instruments

This is a really cute set of kid's instruments. The dinosaur theme adds a super fun touch to the set. We especially love the egg shaker. The set comes with eight different instruments; all with the same color theme. Each of them (except the egg shaker) has some sort of wood component which I was super impressed with. There are so many toddler music sets that are made mostly of low-grade plastic and are low quality. But this set is definitely a huge step up from that! They feel nice, they sound nice, and they look nice.These instruments would not only be perfect for your toddler, but if you're a music teacher, they would be fantastic to have on hand in your studio. I like to take them with me when I go out to teach my piano students. Since they're lightweight, this is easy to do.All of the edges of the instruments seem fairly smooth, but I wouldn't give it to a toddler who might put them in their mouth as it's hard to tell what might be in the paint or wood finish. There are also some sharp edges on the tambourine that I wouldn't want them to hurt themselves on.I think this is a great set of instruments to invest in, especially if you are a music teacher. I haven't had them for long, and I've already used them many times.

This is a perfect little music set for infants/toddlers. My 1 year old nephew loves it! There are lots of different instruments to try out and is a great way to explore music and sound. The instruments are lightweight and easy to use. The wood is smooth and feels safe. These effectively hold the attention of little ones and keeps them engaged in play while learning.Overall really happy with this kit and would recommend to others.
