These are super cute, work well for plant watering, and are fairly sturdy. However the hole to add water is only about 3-4 mm wide. I cannot use tap water to water plants where I live so this makes filling these (from a hose or watering can) nearly impossible and there aren't funnels small enough to fit them.

Son preciosos, yo los uso para mantener húmedos los tutores de musgo y son tan monos que aunque se acabe el agua, los dejo de decoración. Son de cristal, hay que tener cuidado de que no se caigan.

Purchased these items several times to help water my plants more accurately. Works great on succulents and other indoor plants. Not great for cacti but not the fault of the globe - just not the kind of watering cacti needs. Easy to fill, adorable addition to add to plants

Normally I just use bottles to do the same job but for smaller potted plants this is super cute and useful!It just arrived so I cant judge it much but the glass feels super fragile.I would be cautious for those with children or pets that could drop this waterer but other then that I love it so far!

These globes are SO cute! I have a few plants that are fussy and require more frequent watering and I thought these globes might help keep things hydrated between watering sessions. They're the right size for a medium sized plant pot and look oh so cute peeking out from behind the leaves! They hold quite a bit of water. I did put a piece of rag into the bottom to temper how much water is coming out, I may try using cotton instead depending on how fast they release the water. You will have to put something on the bottom to keep all the water from just pouring out, but they indicate that in the instructions!

I received these adorable kitty-shaped self-watering globes last week and I love them so much, I’m ordering more! They’re a good size, each face has a different cute expression, and they’re fairly easy to fill up considering the small opening. They arrived packaged very well and all three globes were in tact.I need to refill the globes for my palm and pothos every 5-7 days or so. My rubber plant, which is about 2’ tall goes through a filled globe every 3-4 days.They suggest wrapping a piece of cotton around the opening, which helps with flow, but I think it’s more so that dirt doesn’t go into the hole and clog it up. I’ve started using pieces of paper towel instead, which will dissolve over time. The cotton gets stuck in the dirt and I don’t want to have to fish it out!This is of my favourite Amazon purchases to date!

The self-waterers are adorable, however they water the plants way too quickly. They require a piece of fabric overtop of the spouts of the self-waterers, which unfortunately does not come with the product and can be quite messy when refilling them (soil gets everywhere pulling out the waterers). Fabric of some sort is a must, other materials (e.g. paper towels) are simply not strong enough when inserting the waterers into the soil.As well, the purchase is easily breakable, they are made out of glass, true, but I accidentally broke one of the self-waterers while taking it out of the soil to re-fill it! If you do get this, know that it looks exactly as advertised, however they may easily break and require frequent changing of fabric. Overall, a cute purchase but be careful while handling them!
