As a newfie, we drink a lot of tea. Which means we all have this style can opener/punturer. I didn't know before purchasing these that they could make them so crappy! These are super dull, so you have to use a lot of strength to puncture the can, and the holes they make in the can are too far away from the can lip. They are pretty close to useless if you're hoping to open a can of milk for tea with them.I'll keep looking for good ones, but just know -these are NOT it.

With can piecing Google the metal often is not strong enough but these pieces are well up to the job.

Extremely blunt tip that doesn't pierce so much as bash its way into a can, might as well be using a butter knife. Up side, will really help build the strength in your thumbs from having to use them to drive tip through the can against it's will.Wonderfully poor quality metal that deforms on use. Lovely if you want to make an art piece out of the bottle opener.Nothing but praise for the well designed plastic center grip. The two fingers that can fit onto the minimalist grip have a nice and comfortable use experience until pressure is applied.Finally the magnet at the back has a fabulous built in feature allowing the manufacturer's to deliver twice the magnets, leaving me with a spare magnet from each. whoever selected the particular source material for the magnets should be promoted as they shatter remarkably evenly down their center when used. I feel that this feature fully outweighs the fact that even before the magnets duplicated themselves, they were entirely incapable of holding the opener's weight.If I were able, I would not not give this product a single star so as not to detract from it's shining example of brilliant design and quality manufacturing.
