First a second person has to hold the tank up straight and press down while the bolts are tightened. I installed the tank level and tightened the bolts all the way and seal still slowly leaks. I installed it on the Korky 3 to 4 Inch flush valve. The toilet is 15 years old and difficult to find original Eljer parts. Finally found Eljer tank to bowl seals from a plumbing company in California. The Korky flush valve works great too bad the seal didn't work as well.

The previous Korky set leaked, it was old but had always had off/on leaking. I ordered another Korky set - it is not quite like the last gasket set - it leaks worse! I went and bought a competitors gasket (Mo*n) and it seems to seal properly. I do like the stainless steel nuts/bolts and the smaller gaskets - but the large gasket is where it counts!

The gasket wasn't exactly like the one my toilet came with but it seems to work fine anyways. The tank bolts are stainless steel? Not brass. The nuts were a bit tough to screw on. My old washers failed so i had to use the ones that came in the package. Keeping my fingers crossed. So far so good.

I redid my bathrooms this fall and had to disassemble all of the Aquasource toilets from Lowes I had put in over the past few years. I bought one Fluidmaster kit for the first toilet, but had the time to order these for the second and third ones. The gasket feels more sturdy than the Fluidmaster ones, and I'm hoping the stainless steel bolts do a better job in our harsh water than the brass ones I've had before. I'll have to check my toilets to see if there is any visible corrosion yet.
