No mic gain control. The mic gain is way too high, whispering into the mic from 2ft away causes clipping. Unusable. Can’t get support from seller.

radio gave out, will not transmit, tested with meter and does not put out a signal, do not buy from this Seller because of poor equipment performance, Had issues programing from day of delievery, I think they are resellint old refurbish equipment as new.

Looks Like the Programing cable issue hasn't been solved. everything was in the box except for the cable... Amazon support refunded the cable. Radio works great so far I just want to warn would be purchasers that as of Feb. 2025 the programming cable is still not included in the box even if it's mentioned in the Add.

The unit looks good, and has good reviews on YouTube, but the online Amazon info says it comes with the programming cable.. It does not.. So being in touch with customer service about this erroneous information, they gave me a $20.00 credit so I could purchase the needed cable (Amazon Customer Service has never let me down, one of the reasons I shop at Amazon). Once I have it, I will be able to program it, and update my review. If it works out, I will buy a second one for a base unit.UPDATE: The new cable arrived:WIN10-USB-KT8900 for QYT KT-8900/KT-7900D/KT-8900D/KT-980/KT-780 Plus USB Programing Cable Compatible with Win10 SystemThis cable fit perfectly and with the Chip software the programming of the radio was a breeze. So, I ordered a second radio to use as a base unit. I'll run one in my truck, and the other in the house with my other radio gear. If I have a problem I will do a further update, but all look good with the first one, the second one has just been ordered and on the way.

Seems to be good quality but it came missing the hardware. No bracket, fuses, mounts etc.little disappointed as I now have to diy everything.

Je viens de recevoir l’appareil dans un délais quand même ……….: et pour mon premier test RX / TX c’est bien sauf que dans la description il est indiqué que le câble de programmation est inclus de type 3.5 sur USB et malheureusement rien. J’ai plusieurs appareils et ca me dit rien de payer un 15$ pour un câble ou de programmer les fréquences que j’utilise manuellement alors j’écris au vendeur et je vous reviens avec le résultat. L’appareil en lui même pour le prix 8/10
