I’ve been using the Leila Fletcher method for teaching 30+ years. A lot is covered in book one. When taught with my theory course of choice, it covers all I need. The only thing I don’t like is the coil binding. The book’s cover falls off within a few months, even for my most careful students. It would be great if they went back to the good old staple binding.

My 5 year old is taking piano lessons and this is the book she told us she works with. My kid loves it and is learning well.

Used this 20 years ago when I was a kid and am now using it with all my piano students. Perfect for beginners, both children and adults.

This book was recommended to me by a friend. I'm an adult who has not played the piano in years; and I find this book easy to follow and it takes no time to start actually playing songs. I highly recommend this series.

Time-tested course for beginners , I have used this successfully for many students. It provides a solid basis for piano study.

...for my daughter in Canada. She got it and all is well. This course (Leila Fletcher) was a bit of a tradition for the kids while growing up. Now they have kids of their own! Everyone seems to really enjoy the songs with their simple lyrics. But over all this is a very course -- Books One through Six.

Great for progressive learning by the uninitiate, our children took their first steps in music with this book. Also useful for keeping discipline and method for the amateurs!
