I bought one for my daughter's guinea pigs. The first bottle came missing the securing strap. Contacted amazon, got a replacement sent and returned the bottle. Got the second bottle set up and within 4 days it started leaking to the point I would fill up the bottle in the morning and all the water would be gone by bedtime. This is a big bottle, it should last them days. Returned this one as well. Find something better

For guinea pigs who blow through water, bigger bottles are a must! Works well, holds up to a few bangs I've put it through with minimal damage. Does drip a little, but all bottles do. Probably will have to reorder every year since bottles deteriorate, but you'd get that with any drip bottle. I like the design on the outside a lot as well.Only con: Really hard to attach to cage but at least I know it's secure once it's in there. I've learned don't try to get the holder around the bottle, do the holder first and slip the bottle through that way, it's a lot easier.

I was so excited for this!! a huge water bottle with an adorable design for my small furry friends and then it leaked EVERYWHERE literally a huge puddle in their cage :(

This rabbit water bottle is leak proof, much cheaper cost then at the pet stores. Comes with two wire bottle holds to keep the bottle in one position, so easy for rabbit to drink

It’s a nice looking bottle it is easy to set up. It is 32 ounce which is a lot of water so I don’t have to fill up daily I fill up every 2 days now which is something.

Using this for my baby bunny, bigger than i expected but thats a good thing. I love the floating turtle inside to see the water level.

None of these are leak proof. I have had all the kinds but it's huge and I found a tiny little litter pan on Amazon for 3 dollors .. it fits perfectly under the water spout and stops the leaky mess! Good product would recommend

The bottle is a nice hard plastic and the tip is metal BUT both bottles I bought leaked the whole 32 oz into my rabbits cages. The metal parts that hold the bottle are difficult to position/hold bottle

I bought this for my house rabbit a few days ago. I was not overly optimistic that he'd take to the bottle as we've tried before in the past and he never quite got the hang of how the water bottles work. So after a day or so of smathering some apple sauce on the tip and him not having access to other sources of water, I finally heard a clicking noise coming from his room. I walked in to find him gulping copious amounts of water from the bottle. Success!As far as the quality of the bottle, this bottle works very well. I would caution that you must take a few minutes to ensure that the bottle is not leaking before you set it up. As other reviewers have noted, you must fill the bottle to the brim, then secure the cap, then squeeze the bottle until water is flowing and while it is still flowing flip the bottle over. Even then water still leaks and you must repeat the process. It took 2 or 3 tries but eventually I got it to the point where it didn't leak at all. If you have the patience to ensure proper installation and filling this product is definitely worth your while, especially at the price.

The bottle works very well. The reviews seem to be mixed. Some say it leaks, some say it does not. I have found that after using it for about three months, that it does not leak. The instructions are quite explicit and I followed them exactly. The bottle must be filled to the top and the lid must be screwed on very tightly by hand. I have a wired hutch outside on my front porch with vertical wires exactly one inch apart. The horizontal wires are spaced 3 inches apart. There are two wire hangers for the bottle. I placed the bottom one so that the metal tube hangs below the horizontal wire of the cage, not to put pressure on the metal tube of the bottle. It leaks minutely, a drop here, a drop there, but nothing significant.

I purchased this 32oz water bottle for our English Angora (Honeycomb) and it is absolutely wonderful. Honeycomb is only 9 weeks old, but he has already mastered the technique of dispensing water from the bottle. From our experiences, this particular water bottle does not leak... very rarely after refilling the water bottle, an occasional droplet of water (literally 1 drop) will fall from the dispenser and again, only after refilling the bottle. For those who claim problems with leakage, the bottle comes with clear instructions on how to resolve "drip" issues if they occurred. For example, verifying the proper installation and placement of the rubber seal prior to using the bottle.Regarding the rater who left poor product feedback because he/she had to refill the bottle every 5-7 days, well I just want to let you know that most responsible pet owners supply fresh/clean water for their pets daily... or every couple of days. That said, maybe the water didn't leak out over the period of 5-7 days... maybe your pet(s) actually drank all of the water during that timeframe. I tested this personally, and my little bun can devour 32oz of water in less than 3 days so chances are, your pet(s) can too... or in a relatively similar timeframe. However, if the bottle is persistently leaking, then you should try reviewing the instructions and following the guidelines provided to resolve "drip" problems.Anyway, I absolutely love this water bottle and I received the green bottle as pictured, which is great because I also received the green rabbit Super Pet Paw-Print PetWare Bowl. Oh, and the little floating turtle (water-level indicator) is adorable too!This is really a great product, and at a great price! I'll definitely purchase more for future use... Thanks Lixit!
